With over thirty years experience
in audio and video production, music manufacturing and distribution,
record labels, and music publishing, Norbert brings a strong
reputation and savvy to his position at TPC. Norbert is a
music business professional with extensive management skills.
He has received platinum and gold awards as a record producer
and has a unique ability and understanding of the entertainment
industry.
He began his career as a professional
musician at the age of 13. He built and operated his first
studio at the age of eighteen. Through his work as a producer
for gospel acts, he realized their need for high quality records
and tape duplication. To meet this need, he opened the Tape
Plant, a state-of-the-art duplication facility, employing
31 persons full-time. The Tape Plant provided duplication
services for several major gospel groups and large recording
studios across the country, as well as manufacturing for a
highly successful "Tape-of-the Month" service in New York.
Through this experience, Norbert learned how to develop, record
and manufacture talent oriented product at a high quality
standard while keeping control of quality and cost.
In 1976, Norbert was presented with
an opportunity to realize his dream of opening his own studio
in Nashville, Tennessee. Upon relocating to Nashville, Norbert
built and opened Music Square Productions located on Nashville's
famous Music Row. In a short period of time, he was producing
and engineering demos for MCA Records, ABC Records, United
Artists Records, Tree Publishing, Warner Brothers and other
publishing companies. He also recorded demos for such rising
recording artists as: Dobie Gray, Louise Mandrell, Deborah
Allen and Janie Fricke, to name a few. Along with those projects,
Mr. Stovall built and assembled one of Nashville's finest
mobile recording facilities, recording "live performances"
for major Gospel acts including: J. D. Sumner and The Stamps,
The Kingsmen, The Sego Brothers, and Naomi, The Singing Goffs
and more.
In 1978, after three years of operation,
Norbert decided to devote his time to developing and recording
new artists. At this time, he relocated back to his roots
in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he and his nephew, Allen Wright,
designed and built Big Mama Recording Studios (named after
his mother). With a new 24-Track "state-of-the-art" facility
located in the foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains, his
main goal was to attract major recording artists to the studio.
Due to its high quality standards, relaxed atmosphere, unique
methods of talent acquisition and Norbert's talent as a producer,
Big Mama's has developed a winning reputation, not only locally,
but nationally and internationally, as well.
In 1978, Earl Glick, producer of The
Little Rascals and Laurel & Hardy and the founder of Hal Roach
Studios in Hollywood, California, contacted Norbert, regarding
music production for his new company called "The Singing Machine".
Based on Norbert's excellent reputation as a producer in the
gospel music industry, Mr. Glick contracted with Norbert to
produce and record gospel soundtracks for a new "fad" called
Karaoke. The first track recorded was "What A Friend We Have
In Jesus". The Singing Machine then contracted with Big Mama
to produce and record additional soundtracks for Country,
Rock 'n' Roll, Children's' Music and other musical styles.
In 1983, TPC began producing
tracks for license by another industry leader, Pocket Songs,
over a five year period.
In 1989, the Chartbuster Karaoke division
of TPC was formed to further the development of quality Karaoke
soundtracks for this newly emerging market. To date, Norbert
has produced and built Chartbuster Karaoke into the second
largest Karaoke catalog in the country. He has produced over
5,000 songs and records 40 to 60 new karaoke songs each month.
Norbert's credits are extensive and
include the following: Music Director for over 450 episodes
of I-40 Paradise for the Nashville Network; Multimedia Productions
- 1982 World's Fair TV Special; ABC TV - Christmas Special
with Dolly Parton called, "A Smoky Mountain Christmas"; Gold
and Platinum Awards as a producer of Major Artist Christmas
Albums for artists like Tony Orlando, Waylon Jennings, Loretta
Lynn, Larry Gatlin, Waylon Jennings and others (see appendix
for complete artist listing); The Walt Disney Company - music
and dialogue recording for the Cherokee Language version of
the animated feature film - "Pocahontas"; recording sessions
with LeVar Burton for Reading Rainbow and Star Trek The Next
Generation - CD-ROM Game for Spectrum Holobytes, and other
major projects.
Norbert is currently working on several
projects with Grammy Award winning producer Larry Butler -
of "Kenny Rogers" fame. He is also developing several new
Christmas and specialty recording projects for several clients.
Norbert is developing a new Gospel record Label with album
projects being negotiated with Tony Orlando and Mickey Gilley.
Norbert continues to develop new talent and, of course, his
production duties with Chartbuster Karaoke.
Norbert is dedicated to producing and
recording products of the finest quality. It is his vision
and professionalism that drives TPC. He is our visionary and
cornerstone. Norbert Stovall is destined to continue to develop
and produce new projects, products, and markets that will
insure the continuing growth and development of TPC into the
21st Century.

Stan's eclectic mix of management
and accounting education and experience combined with a musical
background has made him the perfect match for TPC's internal
accounting and finance function. Stan has been involved in
the management of small businesses for over 18 years.
Stan began his career immediately out
of high school with Shemco, Inc. - a $15 million per year,
family owned, coal mining and processing company. Stan began
working as an explosive technician and quickly worked his
way up to the processing plant manager position where his
creativity and ingenuity helped him to create a 312% increase
in production with plant efficiency increasing by over 60%.
At the decline of the coal industry
in the late 1980's, Stan moved on to create a landscaping
and lawn maintenance company, Marcom Landscapes, the purpose
of which - to create seasonal income while attending undergraduate
school. During this time, Stan completed an A.A.S. degree
from Roane State Community College in Small Business Management,
then a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Tennessee,
and is currently in the last stages of completing his MBA,
also from the University of Tennessee.
In 1993, Stan began gaining public

Financial Management Network, Inc., and later performing job
costs analysis for Lawhorn & Associates, both public accounting
firms. In late 1995, Stan accepted the controller's position

distributor. There, Stan developed Fasser's first accounting
department, employing four. As sales increased, Stan implemented
many successful controls, management systems, and procedures
that produced massive increases in efficiency and profitability.
In early 1997, Stan left his position at Fasser, Inc. to help
develop a startup company, Montgomery Micro, LLC and to pursue
other challenging opportunities. Stan's professional goals
include earning the Certified Managerial Accountant designation
(Licensed by the AIMCA) by year end, 1998.
